Ellie McCarthy

Biography

I am a sophomore from Los Angeles majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior with a minor in Compassionate Care in Medicine. While I intend to pursue a career in physical therapy, I am also fascinated by the concepts of attention, cognition, and the factors that may influence our cognitive ability at any given moment. I am particularly interested in ADHD and how variances in sleep, activity level, and mental approaches to tasks contribute to productivity/cognitive functioning.
