Biography
I am a graduate student in the Cognition, Brain & Behavior PhD program. Before starting graduate school, I worked as a high school science teacher for a couple years and have a passion for mentorship. I work in Dr. Robison's Controlled Attention and Memory lab, studying physiological correlates of cognitive performance and using pupillometry to gain insights into cognitive effort. I am particularly interested in what entices people to pay attention, and how people's interactions with technology influence cognitive abilities like sustained attention. Outside the lab, I enjoy being outside, playing with my dog and two cats, reading novels, and hanging out with my husband of nine years.
